We make selling your coins at auction simple, secure, and transparent. Our coin consignment service covers everything from free appraisal to settlement, whether you're in Sydney or anywhere else in Australia. In short: send us photos, we appraise and catalogue your coins, then they sell at auction and you're paid within 30 days of the sale. Here's how the full process works, step by step:
Send us photographs of your coins, clear images of the front and back of each piece. You can submit these through our online appraisal form or email them directly. Our team will review your coins and provide a no-obligation auction estimate, including a recommended reserve price and the expected sale range. This service is completely free.
We assess coins based on rarity, condition, current market demand, and recent auction comparables. If your coins include PCGS or NGC certified pieces, include the certification numbers, this helps us provide a more accurate estimate.

If you’re happy with the estimate and decide to consign, we’ll send you a simple consignment agreement. This outlines the terms, including the seller’s commission, reserve price, and auction timeline.
For collections in the Sydney area, we can arrange collection from your home or office. For interstate and regional consignors, we provide detailed instructions for secure insured shipping. Every coin is insured from the moment it enters our care.

Every coin is individually catalogued with a detailed description covering denomination, date, mintmark, grade, provenance (where known), and any notable features. We photograph each lot in high resolution under controlled lighting so bidders can assess condition accurately.

Do I have to commit to selling after I get an appraisal?
No. Our initial consultations and appraisals are completely free and obligation-free. You're welcome to decide after receiving your estimate.
What types of coins do you accept?
We welcome a wide range of items: rare Australian and international coins, pre-decimal and decimal coins, gold sovereigns, bullion, silver proof sets, PCGS and NGC-graded (slabbed) coins, banknotes, world and ancient coins, medals and tokens. Full collections and individual pieces are both welcome.
What's the process for getting a coin appraisal?
Submit our free appraisal form with a few details and optional photos (clear images of the front and back of each piece). We'll assess your items and respond within 1 business day.
How do you determine the value of my coins?
Our numismatic specialists review recent auction results, current market demand, third-party grading where available, and overall condition to give you a realistic estimate of the likely auction outcome.
Do I need a full collection to consign?
Not at all. We accept everything from single high-value coins to complete estate collections.
Is there a minimum value to consign?
We generally accept lots expected to realise $250 or more at auction. For larger holdings, we can group lower-value items into combined lots to meet that threshold. Ask us about lotting strategies.
How long does it take to receive payment?
You'll receive payment within 30 days of the auction closing, once the buyer's payment clears and delivery is confirmed. You'll also get a full settlement statement showing the hammer price, commission, and net amount.
Can I consign coins from outside Sydney?
Yes. We accept consignments from across Australia and internationally, including Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and regional areas. Secure, insured shipping and remote consultations are available, and for large or high-value collections we can arrange to travel for an in-person assessment.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes. We offer private consultations by appointment at our Sydney office, and for large or high-value collections we can travel to you.
What if I'm not sure what I have?
That's perfectly fine. Upload clear photos or tell us what you can, and our specialists will help identify and assess the coins.
What are your seller fees or commissions?
There's no upfront cost. We charge a competitive seller's commission only if your coin sells, deducted from the proceeds and agreed in writing beforehand. No listing fees, no photography fees, no marketing charges.
How long does the process take?
Typically 4 to 8 weeks from consignment to auction, depending on the size of your collection and our auction calendar.
What happens if my coins don't sell?
If a lot doesn't meet its reserve, it's passed in and returned to you at no charge. We'll talk through options: re-offering at a later auction or adjusting the reserve if appropriate.
