Across 8 monthly auctions from January to August 2026, Copeland Roberts has sold 6,738 lots for $4.59 million, with 98.9% of lots finding a buyer.
We hold a numismatic auction every month from our Chippendale headquarters in Sydney, with live and online bidding open to collectors across Australia and overseas. In 2026 our catalogues have nearly doubled in size, and Auction 016 became our first sale to realise more than $1 million.

Every month. Each sale combines Australian pre-decimal and decimal coins, sovereigns, gold and silver, banknotes, and world and ancient coins, with live and online bidding.

Our standard seller's commission is 10% of the hammer price plus GST, charged only if your lot sells. There are no listing, photography or marketing fees. Significant collections and estates may qualify for reduced terms.
Each lot should be expected to realise at least $250 at auction. Lower-value coins can often be grouped together into a combined lot.
Within 30 days of the auction, once buyers have settled, with a full settlement statement showing the hammer price, commission and net amount for each lot.
